Toy & Miniature Dachshunds are very loyal and devoted family members that are both outgoing and sociable, which makes them endearing and delightful companions. They are also clever and loving, making them trainable and suitable for adjusting to others. Longhairs are more docile than the wire and smooth coated Dachshunds. The German Dachshund Club, which is equivalent to the Dachshund Club of America, recognizes the Toy or "Rabbit" Dachshund from where Dachshunds originate.
All of our adult doxies and Toy or Miniature Dachshund puppies are handled with devotion and affectionate care each day and are well socialized with others. They are raised and bred inside our home and have not been reared in a kennel.
